International College for Research on Equine Osteopathy

Who are we?

  Organisation

This abbreviation stands for "International College for Research on Equine Osteopathy", which aptly describes the primary objective of our organization, i.e. the further development and spread of osteopathy for horses, dogs, cats...

This application of osteopathy is still in its infancy, viz. a lot of research and development still has to be done in this field. Therefore were are proud to be called pioneers in this fascinating way of treating horses and dogs.

You can therefore look forward to a dynamic training course, which still leaves plenty of scope for creativity. In return, I.C.R.E.O. expects, of the trainee, that he can study intuitively in order to grasp the interrelationships between the different subjects.

History

In the autumn of 1997 I.C.R.E.O. first started in Belgium with a two-year course for the treatment of horses only. Because of the increasing interest from Holland a parallel course was grounded there.

A few years later a third year was added to the course to familiarise the students with the treatment of dogs and more delicate osteopathic techniques.

Thanks to cooperation with the veterinary department of the University of Antwerp the students can now take advantage of the dissection class.
